When NSA Roofing is Re-Roofing your property, it is an excellent opportunity to install some insulation in the roof cavity. NSA Roofing recommend 75mm Anti-Con insulation blanket for all clients in Brisbane and in QLD in general. NSA Roofing installs this system directly under the roof sheets and over the battens. As the name suggests it significantly reduces the amount of condensation that forms on the under side of your brand new tin and subsequently allows maximum life span for the material. It is a wonderful insulator with all clients noticing significant temperature changes after installation. The product is very versatile allowing installation with almost any roof, whether it is a standard house and jip rock ceiling, or a low pitched raked ceiling Anti-Con blanket will do the job for you and your family in Tropical Queensland.
Our Re-Roofing, Re-Guttering & Insulation process entails the following procedures:
- Removal dumping of the
existng roof material
 Re-Spike all brackets or replace
all concealed brackets for guttering
- Mitre cut all corners for
guttering (not prefabricated corners that look ugly and leak)
- Install full length runs of
guttering where possible
- Cut all new downpipe
droppers
- Install Downpipes where
required
- Vacuum clean & PVA Glue
of roof cavity and sheets (If asbestos or if requested)
- Re-Batten any split or
damaged battens with new metal battens
- Re-Screw all existing
re-usable battens
- Install all new 75mm
Anti-Con Blanket to all areas
- Replace all valley
flashings
- Lay insulation blanket
and/or batts if requested
- Lay new roof sheets with
50mm screws for better pull-down to the roof and turn up of sheets
at ridge line
- Scribe all ridge flashings
and barge flashings to ensure water tight finish
- Fit penetration flashings
for skylights, flues, chimneys
- Use petrol blower to remove
all swarf from roof to prevent rust
- Site clean up
