Unfortunately, there are some contractors out there that may not be the best option for your project.  We would like to offer a checklist to you, for you to use with all of your contractors before you make decisions regarding your project.

Probably the most important part of the checklist to have ticked off is the BSA section.  Make sure that you either log onto the BSA web page ( www.bsa.qld.gov.au) and do an online license search or alternatively contact the BSA to ask if they can provide any information regarding the contractor in question, specifically regarding their history relating to DEFECTS & FAILURE TO RECTIFY, INFRINGEMENT NOTICES, DEMERIT POINTS. 

Anyone can tell you what you want to hear.  They can promise the world, explain how they are going to provide you with the best service and how they are the best roofing contractor out there etc.  Make sure you find the facts to back it all up.
